Recently, my favorite streamer, kaisa, modded me for her TikTok LIVE. (*Y'all should follow her too! Super humorous streamer!). When I tried to look for some explanation on TikTok LIVE modding, there are not much information out there. How to add a Tiktok LIVE moderator?
Removing a moderator for Tiktok LIVE is easy! 😀
Assuming you already know how to add a moderator, removing is similar. If you don't, here is the link to it. How to add a Tiktok LIVE moderator?
1. Navigate to the Tiktok LIVE section on your mobile device.
2. Tap settings.
3. Tap Moderators.
4. Tap "Remove" on the person you want to remove as a mod.
TADA!!! There you go, you have removed a Tiktok Live Moderator!
You can also remove a moderator DURING your LIVE.
1. Tap the person's username.
2. Tab "Manage" located at the top right corner of the user's profile.
3. You will see a "Remove Moderator" option.

After some trials and errors, here are some findings about TikTok LIVE moderation.
1. TikTok LIVE Moderating only works on the mobile app.
2. The same TikTok account CANNOT watch a LIVE at the same time on mobile and desktop. One device only.
A Moderator can mute and block problematic TikTok chatters.
Steps to bring up the mod options:
1. Tab on the chatter's username.
2. Tab "Manage" located at the top right corner of the chatter's profile.

After you tab the "Manage" button, You will see "Report", "Mute", and "Block".
Anyone can report anyone, mod or not.
You have the option of muting this chatter for 5 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, or "Current LIVE video". The chatter won't be allowed to type anything during the muting period.
Block
means blocking the chatter from the creator's profile. It kicks the
chatter from the LIVE session instantly and forces an un-follow. This
chatter will not see this creator's Tiktoks anymore.
A creator has the same access as a moderator plus the power to add or remove moderators plus unblocking someone.

How to add a Tiktok LIVE moderator?
Adding a moderator for Tiktok LIVE is easy! 😀
1. You have access to LIVE on Tiktok. *ehhh. duh.
2. You and the person you want to add as a moderator have to follow each other. *Basically, you have to be Tiktok Friends. No strangers coz they are danger... LOL... Stranger Danger.. get it? hahah...
3. Navigate to the Tiktok LIVE section on your mobile device. Desktop version does not work! *I repeat! IT DOES NOT WORK ON DESKTOP. Maybe it will be updated in the future, but as of May 10th, 2022, it does not work.
4. Tap settings.
5. Tap Moderators.
6. Tap the "person with a plus sign" icon on the top right corner.
7. Enter the Tiktok username that you want into the Search field.
8. Tap Add.
TADA!!! There you go, you have added your first Tiktok Live Moderator!
You can also add a moderator DURING your LIVE.
1. Tap the person's username.
2. Tab "Manage" located at the top right corner of the chatter's profile.
3. You will see a "Add Moderator" option.
Max number of moderators you can appoint is 20.

Over the years, I tried to be a blogger, influencer, YouTuber, TikToker, Twitch Streamer... I guess I could have said Content Creator as a whole. lol. I failed because I couldn't commit to it. Content creation is exhausting. But now, I would like some passive income to help with taking are of my family and achieving my dreams. Hence, I am trying this again!
